Hope for Sight Benefit
The benefit to being a business owner is that I get the opportunity to give back and lend a helping hand. So when a friend informed me that a benefit would be held in her son's honor, I jumped on the chance to donate my services. Baby Jake was born with a genetic eye disorder called Familial Exudative Vitreoretinopaty, aka "FEVR". With this diagnosis it was discovered that Jake only has light sight and minimal peripheral vision. It is unclear as to what Baby Jake's future will be like as far as his sight but we do know that there will be many more surgeries, physical therapy and income loss due to FEVR. This benefit is to help relieve some of the financial stress for Mom Kim and Dad Brent. So please, head on over here to my sister in law's blog where you can read all about the benefit. Or you can head over to the benefit website for more information and pictures of the little guy. It is taking place this Friday evening and it will include a silent auction at which you can bid on your very own Michelle Sauer Photography Session. All proceeds go to Baby Jake and his hope for sight. We hope to see you there!
