Yesterday I got to head to downtown Stillwater to shoot an amazingly beautiful and incredibly talented senior girl from Mahtomedi. We spent a good hour and a half shooting in the fabulous downtown Stillwater where there is an abundance of awesome backdrops, especially for a trendy young girl. I had a great time and really look and have the pictures to prove it.

Amanda is an amazingly talented dancer, just look at this shot. It's by far my favorite of the day! Simply incredible!


She has the most stunning eye color. Gorgeous!























I truly have the best job in the world. I get to meet and photograph such gorgeous individuals and Amanda was definitely no exception to that!

Summer Sun Mini-Sessions | Minnesota Child and Family Photographer

According to my last post, I am obsessed with the sun! And due to my obsession, I would like to announce my Summer Sun Mini-Sessions! You see, I can't bottle the sun and keep it in my pantry to use whenever my little heart desires, so I need to utilize it while I can! And I want you to be a part of it! Mini-sessions are perfect for those who aren't in the market for a full blown session and would like just a few pictures for their walls. You can use these for holiday cards too, it's never to early to think of those!

I will be holding mini-sessions on 2 separate dates at 2 separate locations. Each mini-session will last a maximum of 30 minutes which will produce 10-12 images in a gallery for your viewing pleasure. A maximum of 5 people will be allowed in each mini-session. I will have a total of 8 spaces available so you will need to act quickly. A signed contract and the entire fee is due upon booking to secure your session time.

I HEART the Sun! | Minnesota Child Photographer

So to say I have a slight obsession with the evening sun would be a major understatement. I keep finding excuses to take pictures around the hour of 7 and tonight was no different. The kids and I were ready to head upstairs and start our bedtime routine when I glanced outside and noticed the gorgeous light spilling from the sky. I simply love it, everything about it and it doesn't get much better than this. This light, it's stunning and it's the essence of summer. I just want to bottle it and release it in January when it's stark and cold outside, if only that were possible! Anyway, so I bribed them with candy and we all headed outside and it was worth every bit!

I am one truly blessed and lucky mama, just look at em all?

Yesterday morning I had the pleasure of meeting a tiny and sweet little 2 week old lady. Sometimes I forget how tiny they start and this little lady is no exception to that! Without further adieu, meet sweet baby Laura!
