4 Weeks {Forest Lake and Twin Cities MN Newborn Photographer}

Baby fever is definitely in the air!  Just look at teeny, tiny little 4 week old Tate!  He is absolutely darling!  I soooo enjoyed meeting Tate and his wonderful family today.

Beautiful mama in some beautiful light!

Gotta love a baby in a bowl!

Tate did not like us getting him all naked and making him do things he didn't want to do (like lay in a basket), but he finally gave into us and look how cute he is!

Daddy's hands...

These next few shots just warm my heart.  Tate is super lucky, you see he has a 12 year old brother, Noah, to show him the ropes.  He was so sweet with his baby brother!

Mom and her handsome boys.  She is one lucky mama to have such beautiful and loving children!

The beautiful family.

Setting up shop! {Lino Lakes MN Child Photographer}

I've got a good collection of awesome Lemondrop Stop backdrops going on, as well as fun props for kiddos so I've decided to set up a small studio in my basement.  It can accommodate children and perhaps small families.  I'm really excited about it and have done some test shots with my own kiddos and it's working out fantastically!

I thought I would showcase the awesome backgrounds I have for you all so you can get a good idea of what you may like if you ever decide to visit me here!  I've got some great variety and these backdrops are so incredibly real looking, I just love them all!

Here is my "white door".  This is one of my favorites.  I like how neutral it is and how colors really pop on the adorable kiddos placed in front of it!

This one is called "Paisley Polkadot".  I have used this for both girls and boys.  It's so bright and colorful and has quickly become one of my favorites!

This one is a "tin tile".  It is very neutral as well, just look at how those colors pop in front of it!

I absolutely love this "brown brick" one.  In this first shot you can see it adds a little detail when further behind the subject.  Very subtle but fun.

And when standing right by it, it looks like a real brick wall!  Very fun!

Oh, and this is my "bright dots".  I can totally envision a fun 1 year old cake smash in front of this one!  I just adore the colors!

This floor is awesome.  It's called "red table".  I love it, nuff said.

This one is a gray velvet.  Doesn't she just look stunning in front of this?  My kids think it looks like a bed!  It's a beautiful and soft background.

This is my blue tin tile one and I love the color on it.  Everyone I've shot with this one just looks amazing.  It is bright and just look at how it makes his eyes pop!

This is my other wood floor, "brown sugar diagonal".  This has been a favorite with the boys.  I love the blues in it.  So pretty.

And last, my green damask (not sure if that's the name though).   This one is wonderful for more formal shots.  A pretty little baby would look adorable in front of this!

Email me today at msauerphotography@gmail.com if you are interested in visiting my studio!  I am thinking of offering mini-sessions in a few weeks.  Prices would start at $150.  If you are interested in more information, email me today, I'd like to gauge the interest so we can plan accordingly!

Junior Firefighter {Golden Valley, MN Child Photographer}

AJ turned one a little while ago but we finally got around to taking his pictures! We headed out to the Golden Valley Fire Station since Dad is a volunteer Firefighter. I just love this place and it's such a fun back drop for a little guy!

I just love this shot, check out the snowflakes.

And the winners are... {Minnesota Child and Family Photographer}

When I announced the contest for reaching 550 fans on FB, I didn't know what to expect and didn't know who would enter.  I was pleasantly surprised to find so many current and past clients wanting to enter.  That's a true test of their satisfaction with MSP.  I feel honored and so lucky to have this career and so many supporting fans, clients, friends and of course family.

It was nice to hear tidbits of information in some of the entries, telling me why they wanted, or needed to win.  I truly wish I could give away a session to each of you but I have a feeling my husband (and my kids) would be upset if I only worked for free!

So, without further stalling, here are the winners of the 2 mini-sessions:

April Middelton
and
Jess, Jason and Silas Goebel

Congrats you two.  I will email you shortly!

Thanks to everyone for entering and like I said, I wish I could have given one to each of you!

The Big 1! {Minneapolis Child Photographer}

Finn turned one in early January but due to some illnesses in his family we didn't get around to doing his pictures until last Sunday!  I adore this session because of the "lifestyle" nature of it.  I loved following him around his house just letting him be him!  It was wonderful to see Finn again and he's such a big boy now, walking around like crazy.  Time sure flies, that's for sure!

Baby Perfection {White Bear Lake Newborn Photographer}

Sweet little Whitney was born just 6 days ago and she is the most perfect little lady. She slept the whole time and barely made a peep! I guess she's gotta be laid back with two rambuctious big brothers! It was so great to meet sweet baby girl!

I love me some itty bitty baby feet!
Love, love, love this!
Whitney has some major hair going on, she makes other babies jealous!
Ahhh, so itty bitty!
Look at that little smile!

Snug as a bug!
And, big bro Grant had to get in on the action.  He insisted on making his funny face!  Pretty cute if you ask me!
Such a sweet shot, you would never know that big bro Kevin yanked on her feet just moments after this!

Sweet Avery {Minneapolis Baby Photographer}

Avery turned 6 months a little bit ago but we wanted to wait until she was sitting like a pro to take her pictures. I am so glad we did, we got to have so much fun dressing this little lady up and she was such a great sport, full of smiles and oh so talkative. She is so beautiful and looks like a sweet baby doll.

I just love this shot.  One of my faves.  I just love how mom has such fun ideas and collects awesome girly things for Avery!

This is definitely my favorite shot though, just look at those eyes and that happy girl smile!
