Question for all you folks

Big question here everyone and don't be shy, please respond as I'd love to know your answer.

How often do you get your family's pictures taken? This could be for everyone really. Do you do your whole family, or just your kids?

Another question, how often do you swap out your wall prints?

I'm asking to see if I'm a bit crazy here. I am very anal about sticking to the schedule. You know, the picture schedule! Oh, you have no idea what the crazy lady is saying, right? Ok, here it is:

Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year, then every year after that. I need to document those milestones and of course every other milestone in between. I just replaced all my pictures on the wall when Bennett turned 1, in March. Apparently those got old so I NEEDED to order 12 new prints yesterday of the kids. I ordered 3 new 11x14's and 9 5x5 prints for a fun wall collage I plan on doing.

Am I unique in this analness? Are you like me and like to watch your family change through the pictures on your wall? I love looking back at the pictures behind the current ones in the frames each time I switch them out.

Here are just a few of my "new" favorites.

Annika modeling the tutu I made for her. I just love her innocence here and the intensity of the colors.
And my little dude, Bennett. To me, he's got the best smile and it just melts my heart. This is my boy and I can't wait to see it on my wall.

And last but not least, my little Bianca. She has such spunk and fire and rarely ever gives me a decent shot. I just love how this one turned out, such a beautiful little girl with big blue eyes.

Congratulations Angelina! Minnesota Child and Pageant Photographer

Remember Angelina? She's our little beauty queen, literally! She won. When I heard from her mom that she won her division I was more than thrilled for her. But wait, there's more! She also won most photogenic over all of the competitors, young and old alike! These 2 pictures got her perfect scores of 10! There couldn't possibly be more right? Oh, but there is! Each girl gets to submit a portfolio. She entered 8 pictures from our session and based on those 8 pictures, she won the portfolio division as well! She beat out every other girl and won that top honor! So congratulations to Angelina! Good luck in Nationals.
