Frank, all grown up (well sort of) {Minneapolis Family Photographer

I have been with this family for 3 years now and I just adore them. It all started with adorable Finn and when I was asked to photograph their 2nd sweet boy, Frank, I was so pumped. I mean, they make some pretty cute little guys!

I just couldn't help including this shot.  Seriously, how REAL is this?  As a mom, I know that this is basically what it looks like trying to wrangle a few munchkins for just 1 PHOTO!  I just adore this!

I love when it's time to photograph this little guy!  He's always so smiley and happy and this time oh so drooly from those little toofers that are coming in!  I just love this age, it's the best!

Winter Mini-Sessions {Minnesota Child Photographer}

Fluffy snow flakes, rosy cheeks, hot chocolate mustaches are all words that make me think of winter fun here in Minnesota.  I don't generally embrace the winters here, I'm not a huge fan of cold and snow, but I'm doing my best to enjoy life here in the snowy tundra :)  Besides, nothing beats fantastic photos of our kiddos enjoying the snow and cold!  

This winter I am going to be doing winter fun mini-sessions.  These can be scheduled in the months of January and February and I will be limiting the number of sessions that I take.  What we do to enjoy the cold and snow is completely up to you.  We can go sledding and sip hot cocoa, we can find a beautiful snowy path and you can snuggle up with your loved ones under a warm quilt, or we can just chill at Caribou and sip tea and coffee.  The possibilities are endless!  

Here is the 411:

T Fam! {White Bear Lake Family Photographer}

Meet the T family! I had the pleasure of photographing them right before Christmas.  The house was decorated for the season and it was so fun capturing them all together with their new little addition, sweet Addison.

And sweet little 4 month old Addison.  She is getting so big!  I love her cheeks!

Sweet Ingrid {Minneapolis MN Baby Photographer}

Oh sweet Ingrid. Such a tiny little doll, who decided she was comfy cozy in mom's belly for much longer than the standard 40 weeks. It's ok, she's a joy now that she's here and she's lucky to have such an awesome mom and dad! You see, Ingrid belongs to my dear friend Kristin who has been waiting so patiently for her baby girl's debut. Congrats Kris and Tim! Ingrid is perfect. 

The Olivia Act {Minnesota Family Photographer}

The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, was started by Leslie Spurlock Photography. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, Leslie was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken.

I will be taking nominations for a family who you think would appreciate this gift. This session will take place after the New Year. I will be taking Nominations until December 31st. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... {Minneapolis MN Family Photographer}

I met up with one of my favorite baby planner families yesterday for a nice wintery session. Except, it rained all day on Saturday and made our beautiful snow look brown and icky. So we stayed indoors and hung out in the living room by the beautiful tree. I truly have a wonderful job and it is such a pleasure to watch such lovely families grow and enjoy each other. 

Sweet Harper.  I just adore her, she is spunky and full of personality.  And I just LOVE her curls and big brown eyes!

 

Big boy Finn, so laid back and sweet.  Just look at how innocent and perfect he is!

Gorgeous mama Tatiana and her twins.  Yep, that mama had twins!

This go around, Avery was on the go!  She was checking out all the decorations and having a ball.  She gave me a run for my money, but she was so adorable in her Christmas dress.

Ahh, to be a kid again.
