D Family

This was my 3rd year photographing this lovely family. The girls were goofy as ever and we had a great time wandering the trails behind their house.

Today I met up with Cala and her beautiful family for a Mamarazzi's Rock Workshop. It was so fun spending the day with her, showing her the ropes and shooting her ADORABLE kiddos. With the Mamarazzi's Rock Workshop, I shoot the family like I would during a normal session so the "Mamarazzi" can see how I work and then she can have some images as well to hang on her walls. So here is a nice little sneak peek from the day. Thanks for having me Cala, it was such a blast!

The ever adorable Seaden, he was such a little love bug.  He kept giving me hugs and wanting me to hold him.  Talk about melting a girl's heart!  

And the oh so stunning Sophie.  Such a little beauty.

Good times in MN {MN Lifestyle Family Photographer}

This weekend I met up with a transplant family from Oregon.  I always love meeting people who are new to Minnesota, especially in the winter.  Either they love it or they are terrified of what's to come.  This family was all about the snow and were great sports during our session.  They had great ideas and it really reminded me why I fell in love with photography.  I quickly remembered that I love documenting life.  Sure, portrait photography is very much a passion of mine, but I really thrive when I can document family life.  I love that you can look back at a picture and remember exactly how you felt at that moment.  I hope that I did that for the D family.  

Here is sweet Nora.  She's 2 and very precocious.  I enjoyed chatting with her.

And Zira is a lovely little 5 year old who loves ballet and could talk your ear off.  She wasn't shy in the least and I had a blast getting to know her!

The beautiful family.  They are expecting their 3rd in March!  How exciting! 

We took the party outside and the whole gang went sledding.  I had a blast following the girls around and snapping some shots!

Snow is tasty!

The whole crew came in and enjoyed some warm beverages and some loving conversation.  It completed the day!

I was supposed to photograph this little guy last weekend but I came down with a bout of the stomach flu, which is a huge bummer since last weekend it was in the 60's and sunny and today we got our first nasty snow storm. But, I braved the elements and made it out to capture this little cutie!















It was so nice to meet you Brody, you sure were a happy little fella!
