Winter Mini-Sessions {Minnesota Child Photographer}

Fluffy snow flakes, rosy cheeks, hot chocolate mustaches are all words that make me think of winter fun here in Minnesota.  I don't generally embrace the winters here, I'm not a huge fan of cold and snow, but I'm doing my best to enjoy life here in the snowy tundra :)  Besides, nothing beats fantastic photos of our kiddos enjoying the snow and cold!  

This winter I am going to be doing winter fun mini-sessions.  These can be scheduled in the months of January and February and I will be limiting the number of sessions that I take.  What we do to enjoy the cold and snow is completely up to you.  We can go sledding and sip hot cocoa, we can find a beautiful snowy path and you can snuggle up with your loved ones under a warm quilt, or we can just chill at Caribou and sip tea and coffee.  The possibilities are endless!

Session will be 20 minutes and will include 6 fully edited images with copyright release.  Sessions will be limited to 5 or less people.  The cost will be $300 and is due upon signing.  Please contact me at msauerphotography@gmail.com to secure your spot.  This is a great way to get a unique session in at a discounted rate for your family.  Plus, you will have fun enjoying your family on a cold MN winter day!  Can't beat it.  These will go fast so secure your session today!

For the past week I've been vacationing in Maui with my husband and several of my closest friends. We were all witnesses to a fabulous beach wedding of our dear friends Erin and Eddie and I was able to capture the wonderful day! There is nothing like a wedding in paradise!

Mackenzie Summer Sun Mini-Sessions Part 4 | MN Photographer

The last of the mini-sessions was right before sunset last night. The light was taking on a pinkish tone and the lake looked gorgeous. Mackenzie looked fabulous in this dreamy light, she's a cousin of my husband so it was nice to photograph her last night.













I love this shot, so peaceful!



I have to say, this year's summer sun mini-sessions were a huge success. You can bet that I will be doing these again next summer. Stay tuned for info on fall mini-sessions!

Zoe | Minnesota Child Photographer

I photographed this little darling last year in October. I was warned that Zoe is non-stop and full of energy before our session last year and boy oh boy was she! Zoe may be one year older now but she is still that bundle of energy and she kept me on my toes. I had a great time with Zoe, we had a full evening of swinging, playing on her gymnastics handles, hanging out by dad's vintage cars, running through the sprinklers and eating ice cream. Needless to say, I was exhausted when I got home last night. But, I got some awesome shots of Miss Zoe!

I always love to see these kiddos grow from year to year. It's the best part of my job. I am one lucky lady!
