Whitney turns 1 {Forest Lake Minnesota Child Photographer}

What a fantastic session this turned out to be. The whole family was present, the kids were looking adorable and we had cause to celebrate: Whitney just turned 1! We even ventured outdoors for some pictures and boy, am I glad we did. The sun was gorgeous in the early evening sky, making this family look even more amazing than they are!

How Quickly They Grow {Chisago City Child Photographer}

I feel like it was just yesterday that sweet little Charlie was born and all of a sudden he is 3 months old! This little guy is the most perfect baby there ever was.  He's always happy, never cries and is just a darling little boy.  He's a doll to have around, luckily he belongs to my longtime friend Molly and I get to see him often.  I just love him like he's my own :)

Big brother Harrison is 4 1/2 now.

And funny little Lucy, she's so cute and such a little pixie.  Lucy is 2 years old now.

Little Girls {Twin Cities MN Baby Photographer}

We are on an Annie kick here in the Sauer household and while Mrs. Hannigan may despise little girls, I sure do love all things girly.  Little boys are lovely and fun too, but girls are just so much fun with all their outfit changes and little bows.  Little Whitney is 6 months now and she is just as cute as can be!

Zoe {White Bear Lake MN Child and Family Photographer}

Last night was the most perfect night for pictures and I got to meet up with Miss Zoe and her beautiful family. This is my 3rd year shooting Zoe and I seriously enjoy it more and more each time. Zoe is spunky, energetic, goofy and oh so beautiful. She's got the most gorgeous brown eyes that just shine in pictures. I adore her! Without further adieu.

This shot makes me happy.  It really just shows how loved Zoe is.  Zoe steals the show and mom and dad just sit back and watch.  She's a lucky lady to have such great parents!

Dance, Dance, Dance {Lino Lakes Child Photographer}

My oldest baby had her first dance pictures tonight. Of course being the crazy mamarazzi I can't just let someone else take pictures of her so we held an impromptu mini-session in the studio. It was evening, the lighting was somewhat terrible but I couldn't resist because she looked so darn cute!

Ughh, color me green.  I am so jealous, she is just stunning.  How is it that I produced this beauty?

I grew up dancing and was at competitions every weekend.  I almost dreaded the long weekends, costumes, makeup, fake hair and money down the drain for this sport, but getting her ready tonight was quite enjoyable and now I'm quite excited about the prospects.  She felt so proud and danced so well tonight.  I think she truly felt special and beautiful.  When you feel good it truly shows.  I am so very proud of my sweet girl.  I can't wait until the recital!
