4 years, 30 months| MN Family Photographer
My sweet Annika Leigh is turning 4. I can't really wrap my mind around how she could possibly be that old, but alas, it is true. In one year, I will officially have a kindergartner and that is even more bizarre to me than the thought of my baby turning 4.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Annika as of late.
Her and her dirty feet. I just love them.
I just realized she is very serious in all those shots and while Annika is our more serious child, she is a funny and goofy little girl. She loves attention and really hams it up when she wants us to notice her! She's very loving and very inquisitive. She is an old soul with a young personality. I love her to peices and thank God every day that she made me a mother.
I also need to mention that my 2nd child, Bianca, will be celebrating her half birthday on Annika's birthday. Bianca was born exactly 18 months, to the day, after Annika. Bianca will be 2 1/2 and you'd think she was older. She speaks so well and acts much older than her age. I guess she's just taking cues from her older sis.
This look is all Bianca! She is a goofy little lady and makes me laugh every day!
Happy half birthday baby!
And of course I can't forget to mention this little man. He's not celebrating anything, but you can't leave him out! He's one crazy man and keeps his mom on her toes!
See, he looks like he's up to no good here, right?
And my fave of all time. I just love his chubby baby legs in his daddy's big shoes. Priceless!

Michelle Sauer Photography Summer Contest!!!
I know you've all been waiting for another contest! I love contests ALMOST as much as I love seeing all my reader's photos!
I got this idea from my sister in law who hosts bi-monthly photo hunt contests, you can find her over here. I thought it would be fun to make you work for your prize (we'll get to that in a minute). So here's the deal. I'm going to be hosting a super duper, mini photo hunt. I'm going to give you a list of 3 items to find and photograph. Once you find any or all on the list, submit your picture(s) to me at msauerphotography@gmail.com. Then I will put a poll up and the voting will begin.
Once the poll has closed, I will take the top 3 from each category and open a new poll for everyone to vote again on their favorite.
SOOO, what's the prize you ask? Well, this is going to be good.
1st prize: 1 free session with up to 2 people (additional people may be added for $10 each) and your entire session (25-30 edited proofs) on a disc. This has a value of $260!
2nd prize: 1 free session with up to 2 people and an 11x14 print of your choice from your session. This has a value of $125!
3rd prize: A 30 minute mini-session and a free 8x10 print of your choice from your session. This has a value of $65!
Now for the good part, the categories! Don't be afraid to get creative with these too! The more creative, the better! And please, you don't have to know about photography to snap a photo, all you need is a camera and a little creativity!
