Wonderful news... | MN newborn and family photographer

Awhile back, I applied to become an affiliated photographer for the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep program. This program provides families with a photographer free of charge during one of the most trying moments in a person's life. The families who use this program are usually saying goodbye to their child, whether it be at birth or several years of age. The photographers provide priceless images to families who are losing a child and I have been accepted into the program. I'm very honored to be able to be part of such an amazing program. I am at the very beginning stage of my affiliation with the program and am excited to get this going so that my name will be available to families in need.

I know this won't be an easy thing to do and I am prepared for that. But the idea of giving a family a picture they will hold onto forever is something very special. I just wanted to keep you all posted on this journey!

This sweet little angel is Lucy and she's only a few hours old here. These images are from her hospital stay with mama Molly. Molly is an old and dear friend and she just welcomed her 2nd child on Thursday May 21st. Congrats to Molly, Ryan and big brother Harrison!

I had a mini-session today with these 2 cute guys! Their mother, Laura, won my contest last month. I was told these guys were adorable and boy are they!

Jess and Jason | Twin Cities MN Maternity Photographer

I had the pleasure of shooting Jess and Jason yesterday. They are due with their first baby, a BOY, in 4 weeks. They are such a happy couple, I could tell that they truly loved each other and feel so blessed with their baby boy.

I had to do the classic heart on belly pose. It wouldn't be a maternity shoot without it!


So sweet. I love it!

I'm thinking about holding a Marathon Mini-session at a unique location. What is a Marathon Mini-session you ask?

-Sessions would cost $100
-Sessions would last 30 minutes
-You would get 10-12 edited proofs in an online gallery
-You will get 10 4x6 prints and a $50 print credit

So why do a mini-session?

-You get the perks of a normal session with me, albeit shorter, but you get free 4x6 prints and a print credit.
-You get to shoot in a fun and unique location (perhaps downtown MPLS or in a field of wild flowers).
-It's quick and painless and you get awesome photos for your collection.

Here's what I'm thinking. I need to get at least 5 participants to do this so I'd like to feel out who would be interested. Of course, if I get more than that, then great. I would even be willing to do more than one date if the interest is high. To secure your session, I would need a $50 deposit on your time slot. Here is the session date:

This is the maximum for one day. Again, I must book at least half to complete this Marathon Mini-session. Session fee must be paid upon booking and is 100% refundable in the case of cancellation due to low interest. In the interest of time, only 3 people per session will be allowed.
